Massiv changes in short term rentals in las vegas

Hi, my name is Dallas Tung and I’m here to talk about the important regulations you must know before buying a home rental property in Las Vegas. As many of you may already know, Las Vegas has become an increasingly popular tourist destination over the past few years. With so many people coming in from all around the world, it’s essential that we make sure both residents and tourists are safe while they stay here.

The Clark County Board recently passed a bill regarding short-term rentals in order to ensure safety for everyone involved. This ordinance includes 24-hour complaint hotline as well as a limit on how far away short-term rental properties should be from other properties and resort casinos (minimum 1000 feet). Additionally, only one percent of houses in Clark County will be licensed for short-term rentals with a license fee ranging between $750-$1500 depending on location and amenities offered by the owner.

As someone who owns multiple AirBnB or VRBO rentals myself, I understand how difficult it can be to keep up with changing regulations like these; however, following them is essential if you want your business to succeed long term! If there’s anything else I can help clarify or explain further don’t hesitate to reach out—I’d love to hear from you soon!
